Hundreds of thousands of dollars will be raised this weekend, supporting kids with special needs in the community.
The fourth annual Gala for the Kids hits the dance floor at the Chatham Armoury Saturday night with a Disco Inferno theme.
Organized by the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent, the sold-out event includes silent and live auctions, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment.
Last year’s fundraiser brought in over $160,000 to support specialized equipment, therapeutic recreation, music therapy, pool programs and other critical services at the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent that are not covered by government funding.
