Habitat Hits Ground On Fifth Build

The 5th Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent build is officially underway at the corner of St Bernadette’s and Pain Court Line

The property was donated by Mark Martin, who has been maintaining the lot for the last 2 years.

The build will benefit Cindy Krutasky and her family.

“I honestly didn’t believe that I’d ever own a home it was very grim I really believed that my children would grow up in an apartment and they’d never have freedom. So this changes us and our dynamic,” says Krutasky. “We’d someday like to do foster care and this gives us that avenue it opens up those doors.”

Habitat for Humanity build number five is underway.

Will start digging the foundation next week, hope to have the house finished by Labour Day
