Habitat Opens Number 5 In Chatham-Kent

The Habitat For Humanity homes don’t build themselves.

A lot of work goes into their projects and they completed the latest one Friday in Pain Court.

The keys were handed over to the homes new owner, Cindy Krutasky.

She was nearly speechless but managed to thank all those involved and promise she is not done with the organization.

“I am overwhelmed. It is a beautiful thing to see so many people come together for Habitat. Even myself, I will be joining the Family Services Committee after this so that I can pay it forward. Without all of the support and the volunteers this house wouldn’t have been able to be built”.

She says the amount of work that goes into this kind of project is really mind boggling.
