Handbags for Hospice

$24,000 is heading to the Chatham-Kent Hospice.

The third annual ‘Handbags for Hospice’ event held back in October sold out and beat last year’s fundraising total by $2000.

Running the hospice isn’t cheap though. At least $100,000 in donations each month are needed to support the facility’s operating needs.

Since opening in April 2016, Chatham-Kent Hospice has served over 700 families free of charge, thanks in part to donations from the community.
