Happy Ending For Ridgetown Rabbits

A rabbit from Ridgetown is on the road to finding a forever home.

Junebug the bunny was rescued from Ridgetown.

Junebug was rescued from Ridgetown over the summer after a rescue group came to address the town’s large rabbit population.

Kaylie Ngo, President of Hoppy Hearts, says they were able to find help for all 11 rabbits that they rescued.

“Hoppy Hearts took one out of the 11, the Alliston Humane Society took three or four, and Little Friends Rescue took the rest,” Ngo says. “Junebug was just spayed this week. She’s having some GI complications but we’re hoping once she recovers she’ll be up for adoption in a couple of weeks.”

Based out of London, Hoppy Hearts relies on donations from the community to rescue rabbits in southwestern Ontario.
