A Harrow man is facing charges after being pulled over by the OPP over the weekend.

Officers with the Essex detachment responded to a traffic complaint in Harrow shortly before 11 o’clock Sunday night and upon speaking with the driver, suspected he may have been drinking.

The 20-year-old was arrested and taken in for further tests. The accused has since been charged with driving while impaired, issued a 90-day license suspension and had his vehicle impounded for one week.

The man was released from custody and will be back in a Windsor court later this month to answer the charges.

Essex County OPP reminds the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.

The OPP can be reached anywhere in the Province of Ontario at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP on your mobile device. If you wish to remain anonymous you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
