One person has died and another has been injured following a head-on collision east of Tilbury.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a Hyundai Venue and a Hyundai Sonata collided on Queens Line between Wheeler Line and Davidson Road on Monday at around 5 p.m.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
Authorities will not be releasing the identity of the deceased driver at this time.
Queen’s Line was closed following the collision to allow officers with the CK police Traffic Management Unit to conduct an investigation.
