They’ve dotted all the ‘I’’s and crossed all their ‘T’’s, and now local groups hoping to form a Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team can only wait.
15 local agencies have been working together for the last several months, completing a full application to be named an official Health Team by the province.
The goal is to create a more streamlined healthcare system with input from primary care providers and patient advisors.
The 100 page submission was sent off to the province yesterday – the successful bids will be announced in early 2020.
