An attempted murder case is taking another step forward in the courts. 
Michael Authier is facing an attempted murder charge after a shooting involving an 18-year-old girl at the corner of King and Albert in Wallaceburg back in February.
A focus hearing will be held in October followed by a preliminary hearing a month later.
Authier will also be in court later this month to deal with a couple of lesser charges.
