We could get a bit of relief from the heat and humidity that has been blanketing southwestern Ontario for the past few days.
Environment Canada’s heat warning continues today with the temperature reaching 31 Celsius and humidity levels making it feel more like the mid-30s.
However, officials say overnight the temperature will drop into the high teens, which drops the heat below the agency’s criteria for an official warning.
In the meantime, residents should continue to do whatever they can to keep cool – find a cool place such as a tree-shaded area, swimming pool, shower or bath, or air-conditioned spot like a public building, and drink plenty of water.
