Chatham-Kent Police remain on the scene of a standoff in Chatham’s north-east end.
Officers were called to the McNaughton Avenue East area early this afternoon, blocking off the road between Taylor Avenue and Spurgeon Drive to ensure the public’s safety.
Authorities say the situation has now been resolved with one person taken into custody without incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
