It’s a new era for Stephanie Poort and Hello Bella. The last year has taken Steph across North America, has saw her become a beautiful bride to the love of her life, and she has continued to evolve as an artist. Add in a brand new iTunes EP release and you are face to face with Hello Bella moving forward into 2014.
A new holiday season has brought a new holiday single, debuted this week at radio across the country.

The latest single “Hero” made it’s world premiere on 99.1 CKXS, and is a new side of Poort that is taking more of an intimate acoustic approach, stripping down to raw vocals and piano.

This song is one that Stephanie wrote to her father for her wedding. “It’s a very personal song but one I also wanted to share with the world because it really speaks of how important my dad is in my life and the role he has played,” says Poort. The song ended up being a surprise gift to Stephanie’s dad and they danced to it at her wedding with a screen projected in the background of video clips showing many special moments while growing up. The video for the single will also be released Tuesday and will show case some of those special moments and also pieces of the wedding day.

“I married my best friend on February 9, 2013. Nick and I met through music and after 6 years of touring, writing, recording and performing together, we decided it was time to take a little hiatus from the group and fulfill other dreams as well. We had a beautiful Florida wedding with our family and friends.”

Hello Bella is excited to get back into things again and “White” is the title of the latest two song project that Hello Bella will be releasing on iTunes May 21st. Coming from her own personal experiences over the past year, Poort believes that these songs will hopefully strike a chord with a lot of their fans. “It has been quite a year in my family as we celebrated two weddings, my sister’s and my own. The single “Hero” is written to a father from a daughter and I hope that a lot of girls will be able to relate to this song when one day they will get to walk down that aisle hand in hand with the man they always looked up to and thought the world of. I will never forget the look in my dad’s eyes as we danced and watched all those precious moments together that we’ve had over the years, I could feel the love and pride beaming through him.,” reflects Poort.

“White” also holds a second single that Poort had written for her sister as she as well became a bride this past year, a song titled “Ever After.” The title of the project speaks for the theme,” says Poort, “I really wanted to capture these moments in my life the best that I could and as a songwriter, I feel so blessed to be able to express them through music as well as share my stories with others. I really feel I am living a good story and that it’s only the beginning!”

“White,” is now available on iTunes, along with a brand new, touching YouTube video release, for the latest single, “Hero” – which you can see below.
