Helping Seniors Navigate Federal Services

The Chatham-Kent Public Library is lending a helping hand to local seniors.

The library is teaming up with Service Canada for an information session going over federal programs and services, including about Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Canada Pension Plan (among other services dedicated to Canadian seniors).

Topics to be covered include eligibility criteria, how to apply, and how to calculate your payment. Participants will also be able to ask questions.

This virtual information session will take place on Thursday, April 6 from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Residents can join the conversation over Zoom or in-person. This session will be shown live at CKPL’s Blenheim, Chatham, Dresden, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg Branches.
