Local residents bundled up to help fight homelessness in Chatham-Kent. 
The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser included a choice of two, five, or 10 kilometres routes to raise awareness for the hungry, homeless and hurting in our community.
Over 100 people took part in Saturday’s event, raising over $27,000 to help fund NeighbourLink programs.
Organizers had set a goal of $25,000 for this year’s walk.
