Local walkers will be honouring a decade of end-of-life care in Chatham-Kent this weekend.
Sunday marks the 10th annual Hike for Hospice at Mud Creek Trail in Chatham.
Among the events planned on Sunday include family-friendly entertainment, a ceremonial tree planting, and fundraising awards.
Since 2017, over $1.1 million dollars has been raised through the Hike for Hospice in Chatham-Kent, including residential hospice care, care coordination, and grief and bereavement support to local families at no cost to them.
The goal for this year’s walk is $160,000.
