A Harwich Township man is facing charges in connection with historical intimate partner violence.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted on Monday afternoon about an assault that occurred on October 31, 2025. Authorities learned that one person had been assaulted on more than one occasion, resulting in at least one injury.
As a result, a warrant was issued for a 41-year-old Harwich Township man, who was arrested on Chatham Street in Blenheim on Tuesday shortly before 4 p.m.
The accused has been charged with one count of assault. He was later released with conditions and a February court date.
