The collision happened around six o’clock Monday morning on Base Line near Splinter Line.
While authorities couldn’t immediately comment on the victim’s condition, police are looking for witnesses.
Anyone who may have seen a slender man wearing a brown coat and walking in the area with a stick yesterday morning is asked to call Constable Ron Tricker or Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.
