A seasonal fundraiser in support of Chatham-Kent’s hospital is returning for the holidays.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) launched its Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50/50 on Tuesday, featuring a $50,000 minimum guaranteed jackpot and $10,000 in early bird prizes.

The last Holiday 50/50 lottery in 2023 raised $119,090 in total ticket sales, with the $59,545 jackpot awarded to Carol Heuvelmans of Erieau.

Proceeds raised from the 50/50 draw will go towards the purchase of a fluoroscopy machine for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. The new imaging equipment provides real-time X-ray guidance, enabling hospital staff to perform accurate, minimally invasive procedures that will reduce patient recovery times and improve outcomes.

Tickets for the draw can be purchased at the CKHAF office on Ursuline Avenue in Chatham, at various pop-up locations throughout the community, or online by clicking here. Tickets are five for $10, 20 for $20, 150 for $50, or 500 for $100.
