Holiday Jam for Hunger raised just over $1200 for Outreach for Hunger – the most they’ve ever raised in one night.
Organizer Alysson Storey says the money will go a long way,
“We had a good number of food donations and we did request cash donations this year because we were advised that food banks can stretch a dollar four times further at the grocery store because they have bulk food arrangements, and everybody did.”
She says they’re also thankful for the food donations that were collected.
