Home Prices Hit Record

Chatham-Kent home sales were strong last month.

That’s according to stats released by the local real estate board today.

All told 127 homes were sold in April, just five sales off of last year.

Since the start of the year, 375 homes have traded hands, down about 10% from 2017.

Getting the blame is a record low supply of property for sale, which is also pushing the average selling price sitting up to $195,000, up 7.5% from last year.
