January was a red hot month for home sales in Chatham-Kent.
According to the local association of realtors, 92 homes traded hands last month, a record for the first month of the year.
That’s 20 more homes than January 2019.
Also up was the average price, to $246,000, a 12% gain over 2019.
Homes have actually gained 50% in value in the last three years according to the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors.
