An evening honouring women in Chatham-Kent is returning.
Plans are in the works for the May Court Club of Chatham’s Women of Excellence Awards.
Nominations are now being accepted for a ceremony to be held April 26 with honours being handed out in six categories, including arts and culture; business and professions; community and volunteerism; education and training; health, science and technology; and young woman of excellence.
The Women of Excellence Awards are typically handed out every two years. The 2020 edition was cancelled because of the pandemic.
The deadline for submissions is noon on Friday, February 23.
