Nominations are now being accepted for the 4th annual Police Services Hero of the Year Awards.
The honours, handed out by the Police Association of Ontario, recognize officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Over 300 nominations were made last year, with current councillor and retired Chatham-Kent Police Constable Amy Finn being one of the award recipients.
You can nominate your favourite hero at www.policehero.ca or via direct message on social media (Facebook or Twitter.)
The deadline for nominations is March 25th with the winners announced in Ottawa in mid-May.
