Hope Haven Men’s Shelter on Wellington Street West in Chatham.
Chatham Hope Haven is introducing a “pop-up food bank” every Monday for those who need an extra hand with groceries.
Manager Loree Bailey says the food bank is a reality because of the local May 16th Miracle initiative.
“We received so much food from the May 16 Miracle and we want to make sure it gets to those who need it most.”  says Bailey.
Officials with the local men’s homeless shelter say anyone is welcome to at their 183 Wellington Street West location in Chatham between 12 and 4pm each Monday.
Those in need will be given canned goods, eggs, bread, cheese and fresh produce.
Visitors will be asked to wear a supplied mask.
