A Canadian horror film shot in Chatham-Kent has landed a distributor.
According to a report from Fangoria, The Horror Collective has picked up worldwide rights to Fresh Meat, which was filmed at several locations across the municipality, including the Chatham jail.
Written and directed by Daniel Turres, the movie follows a group of internet influencers who accidentally unleash an abandoned and ravenous inmate inside an abandoned prison.
The Horror Collective has released wide-ranging films, many of which are available on their streaming service, BloodStream.
While a release date for Fresh Meat has not yet been set, international sales will be launched at this year’s Cannes Film Market in France.
