Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath was back in Chatham this afternoon.
Horwath commented on Premier Kathleen Wynne’s recent statement that she knows she will not be re-elected as Ontario’s Premier on Thursday.
“There’s no doubt that it was probably a difficult moment for Kathleen Wynne to admit that she wasn’t going to form a government. But where she says her priority is to make sure that Doug Ford is held in check after Election Day, my priority is to make sure that Doug Ford is defeated on Election Day,” Horwath says.
Horwath visited the headquarters of Chatham-Kent-Leamington NDP candidate Jordan McGrail. Horwath was in Chatham last Tuesday as well for a campaign stop.
