The NDP is releasing its plan for median barriers along the 401 between Tilbury and London.
Andrea Horwath was in Chatham last night, and says her party has a specific platform for southwestern Ontario.
“It speaks not only to some of the issues of the bigger cities in terms of transit, for example, and high speed rail,” Horwath says. “But also speaks to smaller communities and rural communities, supporting agriculture, supporting small local hospitals for example, making sure our schools are safe.”
Horwath says she’ll be making the median barrier announcement in Leamington this afternoon, although some critics say she should have discussed the issue in Chatham-Kent, where
Other NDP campaign stops today include Windsor, Sarnia, and Kitchener.
Elsewhere on the campaign trail, PC Leader Doug Ford is making an announcement at a home in Wyoming this morning before a rally in London later today.
Meantime Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne will be in Toronto.
