It’s Ken Deane’s last day at the Health Alliance, but he won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
Deane took over the role of CEO of the CKHA 7 months ago until a new CEO could be found.
He says it’s an honour to work with staff and the Chatham-Kent community.
“To give you a measure of just how warm the organization is, every Wednesday, Rob Devitt and I go over to our cafeteria for mac and cheese. So in honour of that, they’ve named it “Ken’s Mac and Cheese”. So that’s my legacy here – that’s there’s a dish named after me.”
Now that Lori Marshall has taken over as CEO, Deane will begin working from his home in London.
