Hot Rods for Hospice Returns to Ridgetown

Submitted photo.

Ridgetown will be filled with the sound of roaring engines this weekend.

This Saturday marks the third annual East Kent Hot Rods for Hospice fall festival at the Ridgetown Fairgrounds, running from 8am until 3pm.

The event will include car, tractor, and motorcycle shows, as well as vendors, a 50/50 draw, live music, and children’s activities. Registration for the annual Soap Box Derby begins at 9 with practice runs starting at 10 o’clock.

Created by the Ridge Runners East Kent, a passionate group of local automotive enthusiasts, it has quickly become a “can’t miss” event in Ridgetown.

All proceeds will go directly to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
