The annual Household Hazardous Waste Day program, run by the municipality and Waste Connections Canada, is back for another year.

Eight drop-off days will be held now through November, including today from 8am to 1pm.

Items like batteries, paint cans, solvents, pool chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more can be taken to Veolia Environmental Services on Prosperity Way in the Bloomfield Business Park. Propane tanks, agricultural waste, and explosives are not accepted.

For a list of acceptable materials to drop off, CLICK HERE.

Those dropping off items are asked to stay in their vehicle and staff will remove the items for you. Containers will not be emptied or returned.
