Hundreds Supported Though Annual Goodfellows Campaign

Thanks to the generosity of the local community, the Chatham Goodfellows was able to support hundreds of families in need over the holidays.

More than 1,600 food hampers were delivered and 1,360 children were provided toys over the holidays as part of the 70th annual Chatham Goodfellows No Child Without a Christmas Campaign.

The Goodfellows raised over $221,700 for this year’s campaign through donations from businesses, community groups, and local citizens. This includes $57,000 through the Goodfellows’ annual Porchlight Campaign and another $31,475 through the Street Sales Campaign.

All money raised is used to purchase items for the toy and food hampers.

The No Child Without a Christmas Campaign began in early November with toy baskets delivered on December 17, followed by the food hampers on December 18.
