One person is dead and two people are in hospital in the wake of Saturday’s crash on Hwy. 401 near West Lorne.
According to OPP an eastbound car left the road, crossed the median and slammed into a pickup truck just before 2pm.
The 73-year-old Oakville man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two people in the pickup suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed well into the night.
