Improvements Coming To Provincial Parks

The provincial government is going to help you get back to nature.

115 provincial parks across Ontario will be offering free day use Monday through Thursday until September 2nd.

As well beginning on June 7th, 17 select parks will be offering advanced vehicle parking permits up to 5 days in advance. This will help keep families safe avoiding long line ups and overcrowding.

Among the 17 parks, Algonquin, Pinery, and Turkey Point.

They are also moving forward with $6 million in renovations and upgrades to improve the quality and availability of overnight stays including more electrical campsites, and covered structures like cabins.

Many of these improvements will be completed by this fall.
