Inspirational Jump Rope For Heart

Students at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Port Lambton had some special inspiration for this year’s Jump Rope for Heart.

Students raised a whopping $9200 in honour of their classmate, Seth Nottley, who remains in hospital in Toronto after going into cardiac arrest in the schoolyard back in March.

“It was an awesome event,” says Courtney Mellow, Principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Port Lambton. “Our students, our staff and our entire community really turned out to support us this year, because we were doing it for Seth. He has inspired us to go all the way!”

Money raised during the Jump Rope for Heart event will be donated to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Association, which also plans to include Seth as a focus of their 2022 development strategy for Jump Rope for Heart.
