Rain wreaked havoc on the grounds of the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo in Pain Court.
Organizers were forced to shut down the Tented City yesterday in the interest of public safety and maintaining the integrity of the land.
The gates are expected to reopen at 8:30 this morning.
Meantime, the world record for the most people bobbing for apples at one time remains up in the air.
An attempt was made yesterday – there needed to be 597 people to break the record, but with some of the participant number tags getting soaked by the rain, the evidence is under review by Guinness World Records.
