With all the pressure on local food banks leading up to the Christmas holiday, Alysson Storey hopes you won’t forget about the need heading into the new year.
She’s the driving force behind the 12th annual Jam for Hunger Sunday night in Chatham.
Storey says there are three acts ready to put on a great show starting at 8:30pm on the 27th at the Branch 642 Legion on William Street.
“We have a fantastic lineup of local bands this year,” says Storey. “We always have local musicians that very generously donate their time to help raise much needed funds for our local food bank, Outreach For Hunger. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser go right to the foodbank.”
She says it’s admission by donation, with the recommended donation of $10 per person.
