A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Chatham, Jean Barry passed away at the Village on the Ridge in Ridgetown with her family at her side on Monday, April 6, 2015 in her 90th year.

Jean was the daughter of the late Ella ‘Ruth’ McKay and Wilfred ‘Wesley’ Hogg. Dear sister to Wes Hogg, Jr. of Chatham. During her service with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Jean met her husband of 50 years, the late Al Glockling of Toronto. Survived by her four children Patricia Fraser, Susan Glockling, Kim Glockling and Wes Glockling. Proud grandmother to Alex Fraser of Vancouver and Dawn Anthony of Sweden. In 1997, Jean and Bernie Barry were married in Chatham. Fondly missed by many friends and extended family.

Jean enjoyed her membership at the former Royal Canadian Legion, Br #28 and St. James Presbyterian Church, both in Chatham. Family and friends are invited for a time of reception at Patricia’s home in Erie Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015.Cremation to take place, with an internment to be held at Botany Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 10, 2015.
