A pair of events are being held this week to support job seekers across Chatham-Kent.
Tuesday afternoon, a CK Jobs Open House is being held in Ridgetown. The event runs from 2-5pm at the Ridgetown branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Officials say the open house will provide an opportunity to explore the full range of free employment services available through the municipality, for those who are just starting their job search or looking to upgrade their skills.
Then on Thursday, the Tilbury Community Resource and Job Fair runs from 2-6pm at the Tilbury Arena Community Centre on Bond Avenue.
A variety of companies and organizations will be on hand to accept resumes and talk about potential job openings. The event also includes a Community Resource Showcase with information about local employment programs and social services.
