A resident of Fiddick’s Nursing Home in Petrolia, and formerly of Strathroy, John Frank passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 in his 77th year. Born in Lobo Township, John was the son of the late J. Bethel and Frances (Bignell) Frank. Dear father to Kevin John Frank of Toronto, Helena F. Frank (Tammy) of Toronto and Robbie J. Frank of Strathroy, Yvonne, Jessica, Joshua, Daniel, Kimberly, and Brian Naus. Missed and loved by Brandy Frank and Marina Naus. Grandfather to Keesha, Hannah, Mya, Olivia, Vanessa and Emma-Grace. Brother to Lillian E. McIntyre of Ridgetown, Charles R. Frank (Rose) of Windsor, Gordon N. Frank (Jeanette) of London, George W. Frank of Sarnia, Thomas D. Frank (Joeli) of Calgary, AB, Winnifred M. Schroeder (Frank) of Saskatchewan and Helen A. Walker (Ian) of Ridgetown. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. John was known as a great teacher. He will be remembered as an avid technology enthusiast, reaching back to his employment in the early computer industry at IBM. He was also an active collector. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
