The third weekend was a great weekend!I started out my Saturday in Mitchell’s Bay for the Cops, and Kids Fishing Derby. The event was from 8-12 pm, and they provided lunch for the kids participating in the event. They had 3 tables full of prizes to be won for the different categories for the fishing derby. Despite a few drops of rain it was a nice outside for a day out on the water.
After being out at Mitchell’s Bay for awhile I headed down to the Library in Wallaceburg to see a live performance from Cindy Cook from the Polka Dot door. The show was great with lots of parents and kids in attendance. I had a few laughs myself from the show as well.
Finishing off my Saturday I scooted to the Downtown Chatham Center to see the Thames River Revue. The Thames River Revue was good, it was a man right in front of the mall doing a variety of different acts, including, reciting poems, jokes, and juggling. It was a great way to end my Saturday in Chatham.
I am looking forward to this weekend for the Dresden Exhibition, and Shrewsbury Ribs n Blues.
