A kayak rental kiosk is being proposed in downtown Wallaceburg in a bid to drive recreational tourism in the community.
Wallaceburg’s Civic Park will be the location of the kayak rentals, with the Wallaceburg BIA organizing the tourism venture, and the Wallaceburg & District Museum and Wallaceburg Canoe & Kayak Club lending their services to help with bringing people to area waterways.
With council approval tonight, the rental kiosk plans on operating from May until October.
