Chatham-Kent Police were out in force yesterday, keeping an eye on the roads.
In honour of the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, police kicked off their Festive RIDE season with spot checks in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
In all, 550 vehicles were stopped with no tickets handed out.
Authorities say RIDE checks will increase over the holiday season as police work to make sure the roads are safe.
