Kettle Volunteers Needed

The Salvation Army still needs to find people to cover more than 200 red kettle shifts.

Mark Burford is with the Salvation Army Wallaceburg and admits most of the shifts are on Saturdays.

“The only criteria is that you are will and able to do it for two hours,” says Burford, “You have to be 16+ and accompanied by an adult.  And it’s really easy, you get to meet new people and it’s an easy way to give back to the community.”

The goal of this year’s campaign is $500,000 and is the largest source of funding for the Sally Ann’s work.
