With over 45 years of experience in agricultural field, Kim Cooper retires from the municipality today.
Cooper highlighted that it was not an easy decision, but the right one.
“I’m truly grateful for every opportunity,” Cooper said. “My years in agriculture also led me to come alongside many agriculture and non-agriculture groups and organizations which it has been my privilege to work with.”
He says having been raised as a ‘city kid’ in Chatham, he knows the importance of raising awareness about the industry.
Cooper says his job has taken him on some amazing adventures, including economic development trips to over 30 countries around the world promoting Canadian agriculture.
