Today is the kickoff of the annual Kinsmen Fair. 
The fair has been a standout event for Chatham-Kent dating all the way back to 1945.
In the beginning it was the Chatham Jaycees that ran the show, but it’s been the Kinsmen ever since 2005.
The midway opens today at 4pm and runs through the 11th.
There’s always something for everybody: rides, live music, a wrestling event Friday and of course, this year, no charge to get into the fair.
