Another name has been added to the ballot ahead of this month’s provincial election.
Bill Kirby has taken up the Liberal banner in the riding of Chatham-Kent-Leamington.
Kirby, a former Cambridge resident, served as Chair of that city’s Community Well-Being Advisory Committee, working to address mental health, homelessness, and crime reduction, advocating for meaningful change and support systems.
Kirby joins incumbent Trevor Jones, representing the Progressive Conservative Party, Christian Sachs with the Ontario NDP, and Rhonda Jubenville for the New Blue Party.
The deadline for nominations is 2pm on Thursday, February 13.
