It was a dark start to Labour Day for many residents in Wallaceburg.
The lights went out for over 3000 residents and businesses just after 7:30 Monday morning.
Entegrus crews were dispatched to diagnose and repair the problem, which included having to replace a transformer on Dundas Street.
Most customers had their power restored by early afternoon.
