The Wallaceburg Lakers are putting out a call for coaches. Again.
General Manager Ritch Kanally says experience at the junior level is key.
“The experience is what’s going to keep a coach in Wallaceburg,” Kanally says. “We were hiring minor hockey coaches because no junior level coaches are wanting to make the choice to come to Wallaceburg, if we can land a junior level coach then I’m sure he will stick around.”
However, he says attracting that level of talent is a challenge when you have a team that hasn’t performed well over the last few years.
With the Blenheim Blades making a coaching change this week as well, Kanally time is of the essence to attract the right person to Wallaceburg.
