Lally Kia Donates Car to Over the Edge Fundraiser

The Chatham-Kent Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation is sweetening the pot as it prepares for a big fundraiser.

Executive Director Mike Genge says Lally Kia is donating a car to give away on June 23rd at Over the Edge.

“You can be one of the 91 people to participate in Over The Edge, and one of those 91 people is going to win a brand new Kia from Lally Kia,” Genge says. “A 2018, brand new, Kia Forte, to one of the people that’s going to go Over the Edge.”

To qualify for the car giveaway, participants have to raise at least $1000.

Participants will then rappel down the side of the 10-storey Holiday Inn in Chatham.

Genge says the entire day will be fun for participants and spectators alike.

“We’ve got things like a climbing tower, obstacle course, magician, face painting, live entertainment, food vendors,” Genge says. “We’ve got all these people coming, so what we want to do is make it a carnival where people will show up, they’ll be able to bring their kids and make it a family event.”

All money raised at the event benefits the Foundation’s Butterfly Building Campaign for a new Children’s Treatment Centre facility.

If you’d like to take part, you can register and fundraise online.
