Lambton Approves Tax Hike

County Council in Lambton is promising to maintain the status quo when it comes to municipal services as the 2020 budget gets the green light.

Council unanimously approved Lambton’s budget this week with a 3.42% increase in property taxes.

Warden Bill Weber says staff brought a reasonable and responsible budget while taking the pressures of provincial downloading into account.
